What else should I be learning in my tattoo apprenticeship?

I'm a few weeks into a tattoo apprenticeship and I'm not sure if I'm getting everything out of it that I need. I have been drawing a lot, dealing with customers, cutting paper towels and bags, and have bought my own machine, built it, and I'm tattooing grapefruit. It seems like I'm not getting everything that's needed to be on my own yet. Is there any main points that I should have my "teacher" go over with me? This is kinda hard because there isn't exactly a set curriculum, I gladly ask questions when I don't understand things, but the hard part is knowing what questions to ask.

Don't get ahead of yourself! You're only a few weeks in, you're not going to be anywhere near ready to go pro for a long time yet. Sounds to me like you're actually doing quite a bit for an apprentice. Most people I know who've done apprenticeships were treated like a glorified cleaner/coffee maker for the most part, getting to draw and tattoo fruit etc was a treat! To be doing all what you're doing only a few weeks in sounds pretty good to me. Of course there are plenty more things you'll need to be taught over time. Different techniques etc and importantly how to effectively sanitize your studio and equipment, if I understand correctly it's necessary to go on a seperate course in blood bourne pathogens at some point, though I may be wrong. Just ask your artist the question you've asked here, but your apprenticeship should last a good while so you've plenty of time to be taught these things, they're not going to lay everything on at the beginning.
