tattoo artist work

How does support determine amount to pay?
my daughter's father is a tattoo artist, works at 2 well known tattoo shops. He has tattooed celebrities, so he's kind of well known. He gets paid cash, and makes very good money. I filed for child support against him. He told me he's not going to tell the truth about him being a tattoo artist? Can he lie and get away with it. The support office has all his info for both jobs. I'm assuming he will have either his boss or co-workers lie for him as well. How will support be able to determine the amount he's ordered to pay?
People lie in court all the time and it's basically your word against theirs. Specially, if he is getting paid cash. However, if he keeps lying and you keep persisting that he makes more than he is letting the court know, they (the child support agency) will actually have someone go to his place of employment and sit there and watch how much money/cash he brings in every day. This has happened to a friend of mine, so keep pushing for it if they base your support on what he tells them.
